We realise how important it is to securely store any information that you provide. We maintain the highest levels of security. You can therefore rest assured that we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously.
You can tell whether a page is secure as 'https' will replace the 'http' at the front of our website in your browser address window. A small locked padlock will also appear in the bottom bar of your browser window.
Your card details are required to process your orders and we will ask for them for every order placed, we do not hold any card details on our servers for extra added security. All card transactions are processed directly by our payment gateway provider (Opayo) and our staff do not have access to any credit card information. While you may be requested each time to enter your card details when shopping with us, we feel this extra security step ensures your details remain secure and not stored in web browsers.
The three digit card signature code will be required to place an order – this ensures that your card cannot be misused by anyone else.
To give you even more confidence in shopping online with Talking Turtle, our checkout process uses Verified by Visa, Mastercard® SecureCode™. and American Express SafeKey SM. These services enhance your existing card account against unauthorised use when you shop with us. These services are offered by the card providers, in association with your bank. It is becoming a standard across all shopping websites, for additional payment security.
What to expect:
Register your card if you have not done so already, following the onscreen instructions. This process will create an online security code and personalised phrase (different to your PIN) for use on all other participating websites.
This is a completely secure process, and will only be visible to you and your card issuer.
